Linwood Shannon, MD

During my 31 years of OB-Gyn practice, it has been my priority to stay abreast of new, innovative surgeries and techniques. Several of these procedures include pelvic reconstructive surgery, outpatient urinary incontinence procedures, and minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, which helps to decrease pain during recovery and the length of the hospital stay.

In addition, I strive to assist my OB patients in having a successful birth experience of a healthy newborn while providing the highest pain management possible.

Even though mothers and working women lead an extremely busy life, it is important to continue your annual visits. Your annual visit provides an opportunity for early detection and prevention helping you maintain a life of good health and wellness.
